Occupation:
I am fortunate enough to be an intern at Wolf Robotics, LLC, in Fort Collins, Colorado. It is just a few miles from my apartment, and is giving me valuable skills in engineering. Since I am currently in engineering school obtaining a BS in mechanical engineering, this type of internship is critical for my success after college.

My Camera Equipment:
Canon Rebel T1I EOS 500D (15.1MP, 18-55mm lens, 55-250mm telephoto lens)
Canon PowerShot SX10 IS (10.0MP, 20X Optical Zoom)
Canon PowerShot A530 (5.0MP, 4X Optical Zoom)

My Photography Background:
I have been interested in photography for about 9 years. I got my first camera for my birthday, and it was a very low and weak camera. About one and a half years later, I had figured out how much I loved photography so I started learning HTML and basic website coding. One month after that, I got my second camera, a Canon PowerShot A530. I had that camera for about a year, and I wanted something more than a small pocket-sized camera, so I bought a Cannon PowerShot SX10 IS. I bought it mainly for the nice 20X zoom. Displeased with that camera quickly, because of poor image quality (it was simply too grainy), I got my third camera. Right before going to Houston, Texas for a NASA Internship I bought my Cannon Rebel T1I, which I bought in advance from the money I knew I would be getting from the internship.
My photo blog has been running for 5 years (started in December 2007). I have gone through about four or five different designs, and every time it gets more and more professional, along with the photography.

About My Photography:
This is very simple, I like taking photos of outdoors mostly, because I live in such a beautiful state (Colorado) where I am able to take amazing outdoors photos all year round. I love taking photos of everything, but mostly plants, animals, manmade structures, and nature things big and small. I really do not take many photos of people, it is something I am shy about, and want to learn how to do.
